Job Opportunities

Church Administrator

Salary circa £17,000 per annum

21 hours per week

Start date: a.s.a.p. - to be discussed at interview

As we move into a new season of growth and development, we are looking for an organised, motivated, and gifted individual to bring strength and health to our church administration. We believe this strengthening will contribute to the existing culture of equipping and releasing others into their gifts and ongoing discipleship within the life of the church.

This is an exciting time to join St. Kat’s as we are about to launch Student Outreach, Messy Church, Memory Café and Kid’s Matter Parenting Programmes. We have also connected with a local cafe owner who is happy for us to meet in his cafe as a way to connect with local people to explore questions of faith. The administrator will play a key role in supporting these and other outreach initiatives as together we serve God’s mission to see community transformation.

In return for your passion and hard work we will be committed to both your professional development through relevant training, and your personal development through supervision and the affirming culture of the church.

This is a new role for St. Kat’s which we anticipate will evolve over time and will offer an opportunity for the post holder to help shape the role.

Initially the role will be part time 21 hours per week and the work pattern is negotiable. Benefits include work place pension scheme, 4 weeks annual leave, plus other statutory leave entitlements.

This is a permanent position subject to satisfactory references, DBS clearance & 3-month probationary period.

Given the nature of the role it is expected that the post holder will be a practicing Christian.
